Kate Rose, MPH, CSA

Kate Rose has over three decades of experience in healthcare and human services. Yet, it was not until her experience with assisting her aging mother that she truly began to understand the complexities of navigating the experience of aging.

Over time, Kate recognized an increasing demand for assisting older adults and their families in addressing specific issues. Her work is inspired by the concept of optimal aging, defined as the capacity to function across many domains: physical, functional, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual; to one’s satisfaction, despite one’s medical conditions.

Kate’s unique combination of experience, knowledge, and expertise contribute to her ability to serve as an independent voice for seniors by helping them understand all their options, regardless of where they may be on their journey.

She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Washington; and is a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).

Kate is an active member of the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy (NAHAC), the Washington State Health Advocates Association (WASHAA), the American Society on Aging (ASA) and the Society for Certified Senior Advisors.
